This album was recorded as a companion to my worship leading ministry and was initially released in 2003. It was recorded simply with just vocals, guitar and bass in order to recreate the atmosphere of a personally led, intimate worship session

ORIGINAL ALBUM NOTES:

So, finally, my first CD. I have struggled with the idea of recording a CD of my own for some time now. I suppose that is because, in doing such a project, there are so many stumbling blocks that could present themselves. I have always preferred (and always will) to spend my time leading others into a place of intimacy in worship rather than doing that vicariously by way of a recording. It is vital to understand that this is all about Jesus and nothing to do with who I am or what I can do.

I have purposed not to over-produce but rather to keep this recording very simple; to create, as far as is possible, a sense that it is just you and me worshipping together. I have chosen these songs as they tell of my testimony. From the misery and futility of my self-reliance (Nothing more to say) to that place of realisation that life in abundance is only found in surrendering my rights and laying down my life for Christ to live His life in and through me.
